SCP-1471 MalO Ver1.0.0 👀
Over 80% of all internet traffic happens on a mobile device, so it is of no real surprise that an SCP subject might want to exploit this concept. As a matter of fact I was able to get my hands on some pictorial representations on how SCP-1471 interacts with its victims, bear in mind that we are looking at it from the point of view of the victims And although these pictures may not make much sense to you right now, I can assure you that they will soon enough.
Hi Detective Nicolette here and today we are going to be
taking a look at Test subject SCP 1471. The subject belongs to the Euclid
class, and as is the case with all Euclid class SCP subjects, no one currently
knows the true meaning of SCP 1471 or why it was created in the first place.
Hence the foundation made it clear that all Mobile devices containing the
installed version of SCP 1471 are to be confiscated and analyzed for potential
leads on other affected devices. Once this is achieved, foundation staff are
advised to remove the battery of an affected device and assign a number to the
said device before placing it in Storage unit 91 at research site 45.
Foundation web crawlers are also ordered to keep an eye on
all online application stores for mobile devices as a means to prevent any and
all inadvertent sale of SCP 1471. By making use of a self-uploading malware
called Walter-P50, the foundation can target suspected devices and disable them
until their agents arrive at the location to confiscate the device.
The foundation dubbed SCP 1471 as a free to install 9.8
megabyte application for mobile devices and it goes by the name MalO ver1.0.0
in the app stores. Its creation and creator is unknown, with no listed
developer attached to it, weirdly enough the subject seems to have the ability
to bypass the application approval process of all the app stores it belongs to,
gaining easy entry into the distribution section of the store. Another strange
feature is the subject's ability to avoid removal from a device once it is installed
in it, much like a Trojan horse on Steroids.
In the event that SCP 1471 is installed in a device, the
first thing a user will notice is the lack of icons or shortcuts attached to
the app after installation, this is followed by a series of individual images
sent by the subject through the inbuilt text messaging application of the
device at an interval of 3 to 6 hours. The said images were reported to contain
a pictorial representation of SCP 1471-A either within the background or
foreground. The said entity in the picture better known as SCP 1471-A is a
large humanoid figure, with what looks like a canid skull and Black hair. The
foundation believes that the strange figure might be the true form of SCP 1471
but like always, I have other ideas as well but that will come later.
Users also reported that during the first 24 hours following
the installation of MalO, their mobile devices began receiving images which
were taken at locations they commonly visited, and after 48 hours, they
received images taken at places they recently visited. Following 72 hours after
installation, the mobile device starts receiving images of the user in real
time but this time SCP 1471-A was reported to be within close proximity to the
user in these pictures. After more than 90 hours of continuous exposure to
these images, the individual begins to have flashing images and brief
visualization of SCP 1471-A in their peripheral vision and even on reflective
surfaces, which basically means that the subject has begun manifesting itself
in the mind of the individual. At this point if the exposure isn't broken or
cut off, the individual may experience a more severe visual representation of
SCP 1471-A and in some cases the said visualization becomes permanent. Using
several class D employees, the foundation tested the aftermath of a 90 hours
exposure to SCP 1471, but the results came out inconclusive with some of them
going mad and others losing memory of the subject itself after the link between
them and MalO was cut off, however, some of these class D employees did report
several periodic attempts made by SCP-1471-A to visually communicate with them
through its body movements and facial expressions, but they couldn't decipher
what it was doing or what it wanted from them. But besides the damages done to
the mind of affected individuals, SCP-1471-A doesn't seem to be a hostile
Entity, at least no records were taken by the foundation of that nature till
date. The foundation also concluded that the only real treatment needed to
reverse the effects of MalO on an individual is to cut off or eliminate the
said individual's visual exposure to these images, that is if the exposure is
within 90 hours after installation.
With all that being said, you may be wondering how it all
started and how knowledge of this subject got to the foundation's attention.
Well according to records, the subject first made its appearance on ***** app store in
2015. Don't worry, I withheld the name of the app store to preserve
the integrity of the brand, they can thank me later. At
the time, the first person to notice it was a teenage blogger and YouTuber
whose real name was Ray Anderson. He claimed that the description of the app
which read "Never
settle for those Awkward moments of being alone ever again" caught his attention. He felt it was a social media based
app that automatically connects him with nearby users regardless of if they had
the app or not, and the continuous images taken by the app made him believe the
app actually was taking notes of where he was, and as such it was like "he
had a right hand man" as were the words he used in one of his YouTube
videos were he described the app. He even praised the subject's lack of icons
and shortcuts, claiming it was a promising security idea. And with time more
people started making use of the app, enough for it to make its way to the top
100 trending apps in the store. But within the space of 2 days, users started
reporting continuous images of a strange figure in the review section of the
App. The large amount of negative reviews for
such a trending app eventually got the Attention of the App store owners
who upon further investigation discovered that MalO never actually got any real
authorization by the company in the first place. And as such the app was taken
down from the store. After 3 days of continuous exposure to SCP 1471-A, Ray
Anderson's fanbase immediately noticed a change in his behavior. Prior to the
4th day, he looked rather distorted in most of his videos, fans also noticed
him continuously looking away from his camera as if checking to see if someone
was there. But on the 4th day it became clear to everyone that he wasn't
himself. He first started the video how he usually does, "Good morning
everyone I hope you all have a wonderful day ahead of you", but the words
that followed afterwards didn't really fit into how his videos usually went, he
started by saying "My words are not my own right now, I think it's
watching me... who's there!! it's trying to tell me something" he continued
saying "For days I've tried understanding its expressions and gestures,
and I won't stop till I do". And just like that the video ended. No one
has heard from him till this day.
My belief is that, the SCP foundation got knowledge of the
subject following the repeated complaints by users of the app. At the time the
foundation reported a total of Ten thousand confiscated phones, with the users
given Amnestics to forget what they had come in contact with. Following its
removal from the first app store, foundation web crawlers have reported
sighting it on several other Mobile App stores and although it's popularity
seems to have deteriorated since it's first arrival, that doesn't change the
fact that it is still an SCP subject under investigation at least to the
foundation.
Oddly enough, this isn't the first time something like this
has happened, a similar case was also recorded in a private USSR radio station
where the radio frequency 97.7hertz reportedly operated for years before it was
discovered that the radio station itself was shut down 5 years earlier. The
logical thing to say in both these cases is that an unknown entity is behind
them which is what the SCP foundation concluded after all. But I believe that
there is also the possibility that SCP 1471 might actually be a Trojan created
with the sole purpose of sending a message to its user, a message that not even
the foundation can decipher, but it would seem Ray Anderson might have picked
up a clue at some point. Although I believe that thought might be a
possibility, that doesn't change the fact that it can also be an actual SCP
Entity. And as the description suggests, the user was never alone from the
moment they downloaded it. If you take note of the
time intervals between each image, the Entity appears to be coming closer to
the user from places they commonly visit, to places they recently visited, to
appearing behind the user, to being in their peripheral vision.
In the build up to this video, my informant also caught
notice of a test subject who was supposingly key to figuring out SCP 1471-A's
true intentions labeled "Exord" in a
log attached to this subject. Whatever or Whoever this test subject is still
remains unknown and I am certain that it is not a class D employee because all
class D test subjects are labeled as numbers, but this was obviously a special
case. Could that be Ray Anderson currently being held in a containment cell by
the foundation? Well I can't be sure but it could be that Ray actually figured
out what SCP 1471-A was trying to say since after all he was the first person
to come in contact with it, but that doesn't explain why he disappeared in the
first place. I do intend to get to the bottom of this subject but I'll also
need your assistance in achieving this, so what do you think, is the subject a
Trojan or an actual Entity? Do you think it might eventually become hostile at
one point? Share your thoughts in the comment section below, like the video and
Subscribe to the channel because I have a lot more videos coming your way.
Thanks for watching and Farewell.
